Matthew Donis, a senior at Palmdale Highland High in California, won the boys 3,200-meter state title in 8:51.37 at the CIF State Championships at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis. Donis captured the third state crown in program history, joining Seth Amoo in the boys 200 meters in 2001 and Jessica Davis in the girls 200 in 2008.
