Kailah McKenzie, a senior at Orange Vista High in California, took third in the girls 100-meter hurdles final in a wind-aided 13.89 seconds at the CIF State Championships at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis. McKenzie also finished fifth in the long jump at 19-9.50 (6.03m) and earned eighth in the high jump final with a 5-4 (1.62m) clearance.
