Andreas Dybdahl, a UCLA-bound senior at Santa Barbara High, secured back-to-back boys 1,600-meter titles in 4:08.23 at the CIF State Championships at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Dybdahl, who clocked 4:08.64 last year, became the first male athlete to repeat in the event since Bakersfield Stockdale's Blake Haney in 2013-14.
