Anisa Bowen-Fontenot, a junior at San Diego High, won the girls 100-meter hurdles title in a wind-legal 13.59 seconds at the CIF State Championships at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Bowen-Fontenot also took third in the 300-meter hurdles final in 42.76 seconds. She produced the second 100 hurdles state crown for San Diego in the past three years, along with Charlize James in 2022.
