Emily Russo, Emily Echsner, Hannah Riggins and Paige Echsner led Del Norte High in California to the inaugural girls 4x800-meter relay title in 8:55.99 at the CIF State Championships at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis. Del Norte elevated to the No. 2 program in state history, with Riggins also taking third in the 1,600-meter final in 4:41.42 and Paige Echsner tying for sixth place in the pole vault final by clearing 12-5 (3.78m).
