The Fresno Bee -Friday, May. 31, 2013 | 12:01 AM The most passionate track and field fans will arrive early at Buchanan's Veterans Memorial Stadium this weekend, stuff the southeast corner bleachers above the finish line, buckle up and enjoy what they REALLY came to see -- what they ALWAYS come to see: speed. The 95th edition of the CIF State Championship, and the fifth here, should be a blur. Why? Count the ways: The world's fastest female teenager (exaggerating just a bit), Long Beach Poly's Ariana Washington, will be seen in the 100 meters, 200 and 400 relay, and possibly 1,600 relay as well. No girl on the planet this year has run faster than her wind-aided 11.20-second 100 two weeks ago. She's also No. 1 in the state and No. 2 nationally in the 200 (23.18). And she's only a junior.
