Jaelen Spencer’s stellar high school track and field career is nearing its end. 

The Sultana senior triple jumper will compete in his final meet beginning on Friday at the CIF State Track and Field Championships at Buchanan High in Clovis.

Spencer is looking to finish with a flourish — that means standing atop the podium. 

“Definitely, it’s now or never,” Spencer said. “I’m going after first place or these past four years have been for nothing.”
